CAPRAIA ISLAND

Mini Guide
by Friday Escape

Hello September, nice to see you again!

With all that has happened this year, it feels like the summer just flew by. For the lucky -and brave- ones who, despite the new norm, hopped on a plane in early June and set off to discover countries without tourists, with empty beaches and got to experience the utmost personal touch from locals, Kudos to you!

For everybody else, September isn’t the end of summer (at least in Italy it isn’t)!
September generally marks the beginning of the mid-low season. At the time of writing, huge discounts and price drops are available on most booking platforms, and with most regions boasting a 25°C average, it’s got to be our favourite month to travel!

So we reached out to one of our favourite tastemakers Arianna from the digital Instagram travel diary Friday Escape, where she shares her passion for slow travel, authentic experiences and a collection of beautifully curated mini guide.

Here she shares for us some of her best recommendations to visit the Island of Capraia, a small volcanic land only 30km away from Corsica Island, yet belonging to the province of Livorno, Tuscany.

About the author

Hi, I am Arianna, the eyes behind Friday Escape.

Friday Escape was born as a personal travel diary following my passion to share experiences with others.

Friday Escape is a space in which people can find ideas to spend some days in locations across the Mediterranean area and beyond - simple pleasures, discovery and authenticity is what I look for.
Hidden spots, boutique hotels, natural landscapes, cozy restaurants are just few of the things you can find inside it.
Enjoy the journey!
